Arsenal have enquired about the possibility of signing Chelsea striker Demba Ba on loan, according to Sky sources.

The Senegal international - who has been at Stamford Bridge for just eight months - has played only 65 minutes of football under Jose Mourinho this season.
Arsenal target Chelsea's Ba
And Arsene Wenger, who failed to sign Luis Suarez earlier this summer and was at one time interested in Gonzalo Higuain, has identified Ba has a deadline-day target.
Chelsea are thought to want a £3m loan fee for the player, who has scored six goals since arriving from Newcastle in January, while Arsenal have offered £1.5m.
Napoli and Valencia are also interested and, while Mourinho is happy for Ba to remain part of his squad, Chelsea will not stand in his way if the right offer arrives.
