Wayne Rooney ruled out of Manchester United's Premier League clash with Liverpool.



Manchester United play host to bitter rivals Liverpool aiming to extend their lead at the top of the table
All eyes will be on the top two Premier League goalscorers Robin van Persie and Luis Suarez at Old Traffod
Van Persie currently leads the goalscoring charts with 16 Premier League goals, while Suarez is just behind the Dutchman as they prepare to do battle on Sunday.
United currently lead the league by seven points and they will be hoping to take a step closer to the title with victory against Liverpool with rivals Manchester City facing a tricky trip to Arsenal.
Although Liverpool have won their last two Premier League games this is arguably their toughest task of the season as they have yet to beat anyone above them in the table to date.
It is a key month for Liverpool with away trips to City and Arsenal to follow the clash against United and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping
